Only applicants ages 13 years or older may register on the Boy Scouts of Ameria's (BSA's) website my.scouting.org. Parents or guardians of children younger than 13 years old must apply in place of the child.
Registering on my.scouting.org will grant your BSA Member ID. Children younger than 13 years old will not have a BSA Member ID since their parents or guardians are registering on their behalf.
This site also allows access to Boy Scouts of America's (BSA) various training classes.
Please review this pamphlet with your child. It is found as a removeable publication located in the front pages of every scout and cub handbook. It may also be found in the BSA's site Youth-protection/Parents-guides.
Confirmation of completion or promise to complete is through the signing of either the youth application or the adult application. Stated below the signature block:

NOTE: Be aware that by signing either the youth application or the adult application, you are also agreeing to the following (which is stated below the signature block):
Fees are due on the anniversary date of joining. Visit San Diego-Imperial Council's (SDIC) Registration & Recharter Fees (May 1, 2024) for the latest list. This list is also posted at the end of this page.
The Mandatory - Youth Protection Training is available on BSA's my.scouting.org in both English and Spanish. This training is completed only by the adult applicant.

The BSA's AHMR Parts A, B1, B2, & C will keep the units updated on the health of our scouts and cubs. These forms are necessary for any outing the troop & pack participates in.
From BSA's FAQs Concerning the AHMR, AHMR Requirements:
"For any and all Scouting activities, all participants must compete Part A and Part B (both pages). “All participants” includes parents, guardians, siblings, youth, staff, and unit leaders. Though Part C is only required for participation in events lasting longer than 72 hours, all Boy Scouts of America participants are encouraged to complete this pre-participation physical during an annual exam performed by a licensed health-care provider."
** Please be aware that Part A also covers the permission to allow the BSA to use audio, images, and videos of individuals attending BSA functions for the purpose of the BSA. **
The AHMR is completed once every year. The renewal date would be the anniversary date the Scout, Cub Scout, or adult joined the unit.
For more information, go to the BSA's Medical Information and First Aid.
The pack heavily relies on the help and guidance of its adult leadership. So, the BSA's Family Talent Survey notifies the pack of each family's capabilities.
Please only mark what your family is able and willing to assist the pack with.
Scoutbook is the BSA’s online unit management tool and helps Scouts, Cub Scouts, parents, guardians and leaders track advancement and milestone achievements along the Scouting trail.
Some Advantages to Scoutbook:
1. You will have up to the minute visibility of your Scout’s official BSA advancement record. You can view whenever you want. And the unit can make adjustments as necessary without contacting council.
2. It automatically keeps the unit in compliance with BSA advancement reporting requirements.
3. When a Scout moves, their advancement record follows them.
Scoutbook is available by downloading the app or visiting the site at Scoutbook.scouting.org.
Detailed information and private communications between the families of both Troop 105 and Pack 105 is done through Band App. Joining is by invitation only. So, once your child has (and/or you yourself as an adult volunteer have) applied, let adult leadership know so that we may invite you. As the name implies, the site has its own app for convenience, which is free. Simply download it through your device's app store.
